Novato photographer takes honorable
mentions at Marin County Fair
The Natural Light Photography of Kim Vogee
was awarded two honorable mentions at the Marin County Fair. The
Novato photographer was recognized in the categories of
two-dimensional work and digitally manipulated pieces.
The photographs that took ribbons include:
“Waitin’ A Turn,” which was professionally framed in a special
Argentinean leather frame with a dark brown layered suede matting,
and ‘Madrone Fog,” which is composed of three sepia toned prints
matted and framed by Rousseau’s in Novato.
This was Vogee’s
first entry into the Marin County Fair. Her photography has been
published in Horses in Art magazine, Riding magazine
Saddle & Bridle magazine, Cowboys and Indians
magazine, and Horse Connection as well as other publications.
Her photography is also found in the book,
“True Horsemanship Through Feel” by Dorrance & Desmond under the
name Kim Murphy. It is also available through Thistledew
Productions, imaged on a variety of handmade goods and products,
which lend to it a unique western flare. She can be found on the web
at www.kimvogee.com.
